Not true about 12.5:1 compression and race gas....Ran all my 450s on 93 straight out the pump with no hesitation. Anything recommended more is just fluff...That being said I dont see a need for a 12.5:1 in the XR. It will prolly stall easy like the 450's when chugging and wont last as long expecially in a 440 kit with thin cylinder walls...
